ADDO ELEPHANT NATIONAL PARK
A sanctuary to over 450 elephants, Cape Buffalo, a variety of Antelope, many other animal species and the unique flightless Dung Beetle, found almost exclusively in Addo. We are about 40km away.
PORT ELIZABETH (THE FRIENDLY CITY)
A major sea port and tourist destination set along the beautiful shores of Algoa Bay and is fondly referred to as “The Friendly City”. Spend the day exploring the historical sites, shop till you drop at one of many modern shopping malls or simply laze the day away on the beach.
JEFFREYS BAY (SURFING MECCA)
The surfing mecca of the world which is 65 km away. Dolphins swimming in the surf are almost a daily occurance. Whales play in the bay between July and October.
BOARDWALK CASINO AND ENTERTAINMENT COMPLEX
The Boardwalk Casino & Entertainment World is a complete entertainment destination located on the Port Elizabeth Beach front in the exclusive suburb of Summerstrand. The casino has 802 slot machines and 21 casino tables. SCHOTIA SAFARIS (BIG 5 VIEWING)
This malaria free reserve is probably the most densely stocked reserve in Africa, and with over 40 mammal species and approximately 2000 animals, can offer consistently good game viewing throughout the year. Schotia was the first reserve in the Cape Province to have free roaming lions and we can almost guarantee sightings of these magnificent animals on every Tooth & Claw game drive.
SEAVIEW LION PARK (LION VIEWING)
The Seaview Lion Park in Port Elizabeth has made playing with lion cubs of varying ages an experience open to the public. Located just 15km’s from Palm Lodge, Seaview Lion Park provides what is likely a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Depending on the age of the cubs when you visit, you’ll have the chance to play with cubs varying in age from 4 - 9 months.
As you enter the park, you are sure to be quickly greeted by Giraffe who seem almost oblivious of your presence. Zebra, Wildebeest, Impala, Duiker Monkeys and 40 other species of wildlife roam free in this wonderful game reserve.
